MY JESUS

Behold, a king will reign in righteousness,
And princes will rule with justice.
A man will be as a hiding place from the wind,
And a cover from the tempest,
As rivers of water in a dry place,
As the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
The eyes of those who see will not be dim,
And the ears of those who hear will listen.
Also the heart of the rash will understand knowledge,
And the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.
The foolish person will no longer be called generous,
Nor the miser said to be bountiful;
For the foolish person will speak foolishness,
And his heart will work iniquity:
To practice ungodliness,
To utter error against the Lord,
To keep the hungry unsatisfied,
And he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Also the schemes of the schemer are evil;
He devises wicked plans
To destroy the poor with lying words,
Even when the needy speaks justice.
But a generous man devises generous things,
And by generosity he shall stand.--Isaiah 32:1-8

JESUS!! JESUS!!! JESUS!!!!

What a message of comfort and hope these words bring to God's people both then and now as we go through such dark times.  Who is my cover from the tempest, my river of water in a dry place...my great rock in a weary land??? My JESUS!!

One day Jesus will reign in righteousness and on that day truth will prevail!  All will be seen CLEARLY for what it is.  Word and deed will match.  No longer will evil be called good and good evil.  No longer will darkness be put for light and light for darkness or bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.  No one will think themselves wise and prudent in their own sight.

The foolish or vile man will no longer be esteemed but will be destroyed by his own conceit and self-interest.  Jesus who gave His life for us is the picture of the generous man...and by His generosity we are able to stand before our God clothed in the righteousness of His precious Son.

The work of righteousness in our lives will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

We LIVE when we live as Christ instructs us...

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.  For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.--Matthew 16:24-27

Singing this song today...

My Jesus, My Savior...

My comfort, my shelter,
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You.

Shout to the Lord, all the earth,
Let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King;
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
at the sound of Your name.
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands,
Forever I'll love you, forever I'll stand,
Nothing compares tot he promise I have in You.
