Doubting Your Value?

If you have ever doubted your value, spend some time today meditating on what God says about you, on what He does, has done and will do for you, His child, in His word.

You are chosen by God and precious…

4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,—1 Peter 2:4

You are His own special person…

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.—1 Peter 2:9-10

You are the work of His hands…You are His masterpiece…His poem

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.—Ephesians 2:10

His thoughts toward you are precious, vast and innumerable…

17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!

How vast is the sum of them!

18 If I could count them, they would outnumber the sand.

When I awake, I am still with You.

You are unforgettable…

15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child,

And not have compassion on the son of her womb?

Surely they may forget,

Yet I will not forget you.

16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;

Your walls are continually before Me.—Isaiah 49:15-16

You have been chosen, loved and accepted by Him before the foundation of the world

4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.—Ephesians 1:4-6

He works everything (all of it) in your life together for your good…

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

He is on your side…

If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?Romans 8:31-32

He fights for you…

for the LORD your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you.—Joshua 23:10b

He has made you a  joint heir with His Son…

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

He hears your cries, performs all things for you, answers your prayers and perfects that which concerns you…

2 I will cry out to God Most High,

To God who performs all things for me.

3 He shall send from heaven and save me;

He reproaches the one who would swallow me up.—Psalm 57:2-3

3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me,

And made me bold with strength in my soul.

8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me;Psalm 138:2-3;8

Hides you in the time of trouble…

5 For in the time of trouble

He shall hide me in His pavilion;

In the secret place of His tabernacle

He shall hide me;

He shall set me high upon a rock.—Psalm 27:5

Cares for you…

7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.—1 Peter 5:7

Given you the Holy Spirit to be with you forever. He is your Comforter, your Advocate, your Intercessor—your Counselor, your Strengthener, your Standby…

16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Has promised to never leave you nor forsake you…

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say:

“The LORD is my helper;

I will not fear.

What can man do to me?”Hebrews 13:5-6

Died for you when you were hopeless, helpless, and His enemy so that you could be saved from His wrath and live with Him forever in heaven

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.—Romans 5:8

Gives you access to Him by your faith in His Son

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.—Hebrews 4:16

I will end with this…

25 And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.—John 21:25
