Those who are planted in the house of the LORD
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
To declare that the LORD is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.—Ps 92:13-15
Oh, to be planted in the House of the Lord...
—to be rooted and grounded in Your soil of agape love...
—to dwell and be sheltered in the secret place of Your Presence.
—to gaze upon Your beauty and inquire of You in Your temple
—to flourish in Your courts.
—to abide under the shadow of the Almighty God.
—to be productive and secure trusting in the steadfast love of my God
—to LIVE by faith in the secret place of Your Presence
This is where my joy will be full. This is where I will grow in Your grace and knowledge...EVER green, EVER prospering...feeding on Your faithfulness. This is where my strength and my fruit are found...in You.
Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV)
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Psalm 1:3 (NKJV)
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
John 15:2-5 (NKJV)
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Psalm 71:18 (NKJV)
18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto [this] generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come.
18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto [this] generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come.
