I am so thankful for the word of God. Truly, in the multitude of my anxieties within His comfort delights my soul. Last night, was no different. As I prayed and meditated through Psalm 145, the Holy Spirit used these words of David to bring me the security and rest my heart needed.
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
Beloved…no matter what you might be facing today, may these precious words of God bring His divine assurance and comfort to your own heart.
The Lord is near…
I am not left alone. He is with me. The God of the Universe has made His home with me. He is near to help me, to sympathize with me and to shine the light of His favor upon me. I don’t face this battle alone. The Lord is for me…He is on my side. He stands with me. He is my very present help. The Lord is in my midst, I shall not be moved. My heart is His and His truth fills my heart. He will hear when I call upon Him. My God of mercy will come to meet me. He will not forsake the work of His hands.
The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.—Psalm 34:18
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.—Psalm 46:1
Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness;
He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.—Psalm 112:4
"For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?—Deuteronomy 4:7
for in Him we live and move and have our being,—Acts 17:28a
You are near, O LORD,
And all Your commandments are truth.—Psalm 119:151
I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,

Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.—Psalm 34:1-10
