This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.—1 John 1:5
Lord…Thank you that You are light and in You there is no darkness at all. So much evil surrounds me as I walk thru this vale of tears, but as a believer I am in Christ. I dwell in unapproachable light. If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," even the night shall be light about me. You, Father, are the light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not and cannot ever overpower it or penetrate it.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.—2 Corinthians 4:5-6
