For You Will Light My Lamp…

For You will light my lamp;

The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

For by You I can run against a troop,

By my God I can leap over a wall.

As for God, His way is perfect;

The word of the LORD is proven;

He is a shield to all who trust in Him.—Psalm 18:28-30

Father…I am Yours and You are mine. Your left hand is under my head and Your right hand embraces me. ❤️Who is this coming up from the wilderness leaning upon her beloved? ❤️

You are my light in the darkness of this world. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. When I sit in darkness and the shadow of death, You are a light to me. You guide my feet into your way of peace. If I say surely the darkness shall fall on me, even the night is light about me. For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for truly it was You who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in my heart to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Where can I go from Your Spirit?

Or where can I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend into heaven, You are there;

If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

If I take the wings of the morning,

And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Even there Your hand shall lead me,

And Your right hand shall hold me.

Shine your light deeply into my soul and search me and know my heart. Try me and know my anxieties and lead me in your way everlasting.

In You, I am invincible.  Your way is perfect, Your word is proven and You are a shield to me as I continually place my trust in You. In You, I am more than a conqueror…

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:

"For Your sake we are killed all day long;

We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.—Romans 8:35-39

So he answered and said to me:

"This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:

'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,'

Says the LORD of hosts.—Zechariah 4:6
