Beloved...Happy Resurrection Day!
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.—1 Peter 1:3-5

Today’s Devotional
6 Sacrifice and offering You did not desire;
My ears You have opened.
Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require.
7 Then I said, "Behold, I come;
In the scroll of the book it is written of me.
8 I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart."—Psalm 40:6-8
According to one commentator the “open ears” refer to his readiness to hear and obey God’s will.. “Behold, I come” means “Here I am, ready to obey”.
Father!
Forgive my unwilling heart! Open MY ears! Oh, that I would have a will yielded to Yours and a body surrendered and ready to walk in those works that You prepared beforehand for me. By Your Holy Spirit fill my heart with right desires. Fill it with the fullness of Your word. Fill it especially with the knowledge of what You have done for me. Incline my ear to follow Your voice and Your way and not the counsel and dictate of my own evil heart.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.—Psalm 19:14
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.—Psalm 37:3-4
