Unite My Heart to Fear Your Name…

7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,

8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,

In the day of trial in the wilderness,

9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,

And saw My works forty years.

10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,

And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,

And they have not known My ways.’

11 So I swore in My wrath,

‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”

12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,—Hebrews 3:7-14

Father…Teach me Your statutes!  Unite my heart to fear Your name! Keep me from an erring, disbelieving heart. Help me to honor You with my faith.  May my heart be steadfast, O God, trusting You.

Help me by Your gracious Spirit to hold on to my convictions and my confession of faith continually to the end despite the trials and tribulations that come. Open my eyes to see Your steadfast love and delivering grace all over my life. As I see it may it strengthen my faith and draw me into a closer relationship with You.

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?Jeremiah 32:27

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."Matthew 19:26

Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?" 29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."John 6:28-29
