The NKJV version is my favorite. It says, “the heart of her husband safely trusts her.” I love that. His trust is not misplaced. I want my husband to have that kind of secure confidence and peace. Oh, that I would love him as Jesus loves him. That his heart could safely trust me to be impeccably loyal...always speaking and acting in His best interests.
Father...may my character and commitment reflect your character and commitment. May my wisdom come from You alone as I seek to fear and follow You and may all of it bless my husband all the days of our married life. May my heart be fixed always trusting in You, my God.
