Then Our Mouth Was Filled With Laughter and Our Tongue with Singing…

"So I will strengthen them in the LORD,

And they shall walk up and down in His name,"

Says the LORD.—Zechariah 10:12

Here in chapter 10 of Zechariah the Lord speaks to the regathering, redemption and spiritual restoration of Israel.  Verse 10 seems to speak of the time when Israel will be the Messiah’s messengers in the millennial kingdom.  Prophecy helps us to see God in the big picture. It remind us of where we are headed and encourage us to see Christ in the grace and glory of His promised victory. As I read through it this morning my heart sang this song of victory.

The LORD God is my strength;

He will make my feet like deer's feet,

And He will make me walk on my high hills.—Habakkuk 3:19

Beloved…Give God your whole heart. Give Him the portions that are embattled and imprisoned by the enemy of our soul.  Seek the Lord and His strength…Seek His face for evermore. Walk in this world…up and down it…in His name and in His strength.

Oh, that He would grant us according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.—Ephesians 3:16-19

Allow the light of the glory of God to shine in You and upon You. Turn to Him and behold His glory and be strengthened and transformed into His image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.

When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion,

We were like those who dream.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter,

And our tongue with singing.

Then they said among the nations,

"The LORD has done great things for them."

The LORD has done great things for us,

And we are glad.

Bring back our captivity, O LORD,

As the streams in the South.

Those who sow in tears

Shall reap in joy.

He who continually goes forth weeping,

Bearing seed for sowing,

Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

Bringing his sheaves with him.—Psalm 126
