The One Whom Jesus Loves…

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.—Ephesians 1:3-6

Sometimes holidays can wreak havoc with our schedules.  There often seems to be very little time to do that one thing that is needful…that one thing that Jesus told Mary could never be taken from her. This morning was one of those mornings for me.  God in His faithfulness brought me to Ephesians 1 (above) and then to John 21….Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!

Today as you go about your day remember to think of yourself as Jesus thinks about you…as your Father in heaven sees you.

AS THE ONE WHOM JESUS LOVES…AS ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED.

This is what God says about you.  Dwell there.

20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.—Galatians 2:20 (emphasis mine)

3 Be my strong refuge,

To which I may resort continually;

You have given the commandment to save me,

For You are my rock and my fortress.—Psalm 71:3

3 I am my beloved’s,

And my beloved is mine.—Song of Solomon 6:3

3 His left hand is under my head,

And his right hand embraces me.—Song of Solomon 8:3
