It is God Who Makes My Way Perfect…

31 For who is God, except the LORD?

And who is a rock, except our God?

32 It is God who arms me with strength,

And makes my way perfect.

33 He makes my feet like the feet of deer,

And sets me on my high places.—Psalm 18:31-33

I am so grateful for these precious verses from Psalm 18. Their truths reminded me of this verse from Deuteronomy. (Moses is speaking)

6 So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”Deuteronomy 31:6

Beloved…if we live long enough, all of us will face some very difficult times. Trials and tribulation WILL come but when they do, we will not face them alone. The God who is our rock, our fortress and our deliverer will face them with us.

33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”John 16:33

He who is omnipotent will arm us with strength for each and every battle we face. He who is perfect will make our way perfect. As we surrender to His leading He will make our path smooth and our feet like those of a deer who has the ability to negotiate high and rugged terrain without falling or being injured. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress.  My God, in Him I will trust.”  I will not be afraid or dismayed. He will be with me wherever I go.

Beloved… In Him is victory! To God be the glory as we, like David, attribute every ability and every victory to Him who makes our way perfect and performs all things for us.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6

11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.—Philippians 4:11-13
